Main characters.

Fluffy. In the book Fluffy undertakes two journeys. The first is the real journey that the mission requires. The second ‘journey’ describes his struggles to make the transition from a caged, pet hamster to a Hamster HQ agent. Fluffy is the one falling out of the car!

Bethany. Bethany is a super sporty, American, older hamster that seemingly understands everything about hamster HQ in the UK and the US. She has to help Fluffy come to terms with being an agent whilst trying to lead one of the most complicated missions that Hamster HQ has ever attempted. Her and Fluffy form a very unlikely team! Bethany is the one driving the car.

Sophie. Is another hamster sent by Hamster HQ America. Sophie has managed to reach Lauren and has been looking after her since her parents reported her missing. Sophie is an international gymnast and her and Lauren have a great time practising gymnastics. Sophie is the tallest of the two hamsters wearing space suits.

Lauren. Marooned on her own the youngest hamster in the story is the subject of an international rescue effort to reunite her with her parents. Her and Sophie have a wonderful time performing gymnastics together while they try to decide what to do next. Lauren is in the back of the car and is the smallest of the two hamsters wearing space suits.

The General. The hamster in charge of Hamster HQ UK. He is revered around the world and has to use his influence to get the help he needs to achieve the rescue of his granddaughter: Lauren. The General is really old and doesn’t really understand all of the technology that Hamster HQ requires; however he does know how to plan a mission and is the character that all hamsters look to for advice and direction.
